A charro is a traditional cowboy of Mexico.

Charrerķa is a culture, tradition, sport, and art practiced in Mexico and the United States. A central component of charrerķa is the charreada. The charreada is a festive event that incorporates equestrian competitions and demonstrations, specific costumes and horse trappings, music, and food.

Faldeo is movement of the women's skirts. The proper technique should come directly from the group/village/region that you are interpreting.

Zapateado is the rhythmic stamping and tapping of the heels characteristic of Spanish flamenco dances. It is influenced from Spanish flamenco dance in which the performer stamps and taps rhythmically with the heels.
